Duties & Activities

* Observe and assist veterinarians during consultations, examinations and procedures. * Assist with the safe restraint and handling of animals under supervision. * Observe and assist with diagnostic procedures, including blood collection, laboratory tests and imaging, where permitted. * Assist with hospitalised patient care, including feeding, cleaning and monitoring. * Observe surgical procedures and assist with pre- and post-operative patient care under supervision. * Assist with maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and infection-control standards. * Help with the preparation, cleaning and organisation of consultation rooms, treatment areas and equipment. * Participate in case discussions and learn about diagnosis, treatment plans and client communication. * Maintain patient and client confidentiality at all times. * Follow all clinic policies, workplace safety procedures and instructions from supervising staff. * Perform only duties appropriate to their level of training and under the supervision of a qualified veterinarian or authorised clinic staff.

Schedule

Any 4 days per week from Monday to Saturday 9:30am to 7pm
